We are excited to announce that the #NEREUS project has officially started!

On March 16–17, 2026, partners gathered in Genoa, Italy, at the RINA headquarters for the Kick-Off Meeting. This marked the beginning of our collaborative journey toward developing next-generation AEM electrolyzers for sustainable hydrogen production.

The project is coordinated by Antares Electrolysis S.r.l., leading a strong consortium of partners across Europe.

Over the two days, the consortium:

🔹 Presented the project’s vision, objectives, and structure

🔹 Introduced all partners and their roles

🔹 Reviewed key technical work packages, from advanced cell development to system integration and validation

🔹 Discussed innovative solutions for flexible operation, power electronics, and sustainability assessment

🔹 Aligned on management, communication, and next steps

The meeting also included valuable contributions from the European Commission, setting the stage for a strong and impactful project execution.

With a shared commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, NEREUS is ready to push the boundaries of hydrogen technology and support Europe’s clean energy transition.

Stay tuned for updates as we move forward! 🌱⚡
